Onsite TESOL Course

If you are interested in teaching English abroad, or in the UK, INTESOL Leeds can offer you the INTESOL Certificate in TESOL. The course lasts for 4 weeks and the certificate is accredited by Ascentis.

About the Course

This is a 4 week onsite intensive face to face course leading to the internationally recognised Certificate in TESOL and Teaching Practice Certificate.

You will spend approximately 160 hours in a learning environment, and be expected to complete a number of hours of self study during the evenings and weekends.

There will be around 20 hours of lesson observations of qualified teachers, and over 6 hours of observed teaching practice with real students.

The course is accredited by Ascentis at NQF (National Qualifications Framework) Levels 4 & 5, and is equivalent to Cambridge CELTA and Trinity TESOL certificates.

Eligibility

Candidates need to have a good educational background. Degree qualified candidates are preferred, as this assures your academic capability and ensures you will be able to cope with the intensive course.
Applicants need to be at least 18 years of age, there is no upper age limit.

If you are not an English national then you will need to provide evidence that you have completed an IELTS exam with a score of 8 or 9.
